One of my first weddings since the pandemic was started was this June and it was great to get back to work! It was a lovely mild day and a local wedding for me so perfect for getting back into the swing of shooting wedding videos.

The day started at the brides house on High Street in Westport where I was able to film some nice beauty shots of the wedding dress and to film the bridal preparations in the morning before a short walk down to the church, St Marys, on the mall in Westport.

For the church it was also one of the first weddings back for them and with only 25 guests allowed there was certainly plenty of room for my cameras to set up to film!

Once the ceremony was over we had plenty of time for a relaxed photo shoot down by the point and in the lovely grounds of Westport House.

Due to the restrictions still in place it wasn't possible to hold the reception at the hotel that had been planned so the couple had rented The Roost House for the drinks and afters. With only 25 guests it was a much more relaxed and intimate affair and addede to the feel of the day rather than against it in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of the weddings over the summer, even with the restrictions still in place, and hope to get back to some normality very soon!

I have plenty more wedding films shot in Westport on my Vimeo Page and if you would like some more information on my work or would like to check for wedding availability you can contact me on the website here or drop me a line at
