A local wedding for my latest blog focused knockranny wedding video in Westport Church with the reception to be held in Knockranny House Hotel.

The morning started in the bridal suite at Knockranny Hotel where I was filming the morning preparations of the bride and the bridal party. It's a lovely room to shoot in the lots of space and lots of lovely wide open windows! Marina, the bride, was well on time and in her dress an hour before the ceremony starts, a rarity indeed but always great for me as it means I can get some nice shots of the bride in her wedding dress before I have to go and set up at the church.

Again, Westport Church is my local church and one of my favourites to film in with plenty of space to get the shots I need in an unobtrusive manner, and Father Charlie always delivers a nice relaxed and funny service.

I had a second shooter with me for this knockranny wedding video which comes as standard as part of the Platinum Package, which is great as he has the camera on a steadycam for some lovely cinematic shots and has a drone for lovely ariel footage that can be incorporated into the wedding film.

After the ceremony it was cold and drizzly and we headed up the street to the famous Matt Molloy's pub for a few shots of the couple sipping pints by a warm fire. Photographer was Ciaran Duignan of Abaca Photography, we shoot a lot of weddings together and work well together as we both shoot in a candid, unobtrusive style.

While I was filming with the couple in the pub my second shooter was able to go back to the hotel and grab a few ariel shots on the drone and get shots of the guests arriving and relaxing in the reception area.

The couple arrived back at the hotel in time for some relaxing with their friends and family before being called for dinner and dancing the night away!
